The Jason Thompson trained Suave Fella took out the the 2006 Howard Pacific Finance Paws of Thunder and in doing so collected the $100,000 winners cheque.



Star Queensland stayer Quidame claimed the Group 2 Sydney Cup in 42.61 for trainer Tony Brett and owner Helen Ivers.
