The 2008 Nexia Court & Co. Young Star Classic kicks off with four heats on the 19^th of July with the final run on the following Saturday. Nominations close at the GHRRA at 10am on Tuesday the 15^th of July. The GROUP 2 $25,000 to the winner event is open to the best 32 greyhounds whelped on or after 1/7/2006 under the TAB clubs Grading Policy.

 

With the prize money that is on offer the Young Star has attracted some very good young dogs in years gone by and this series should be no different.

 

On SUNDAY July 27 the Laurie Healion Memorial heats will be conducted. Open to all maiden greyhound there will be 10 x 8 dog heats, which will be, TAB/Sky covered meeting.

 

In the event of additional nominations being received on and above the 10 race TAB program, non TAB heats will be programmed directly following the TAB meeting to ensure all greyhounds nominated receive a start.
